"It was early evening around 7:30 pm, heading north on 3, I was past the Plymouth State College and two other cars were ahead of me and at least three cars were in back of me, when across the dark sky I saw shooting lights across the sky, not like a ground light cause it went horizontal then vertical in one movement and when I saw it I noticed the cars in front of me put on their brakes and I put on mine. None of us stopped or pulled over to talk cause I think we were all freaked, but when I got to my friends house I told him and he said it could have been and air force jet. But I have never seen lights stay in one formation then follow in one single formation and shot straight up.” Source:

Effingham At 7:40 pm, “The sky was completely illuminated, you could see the tops of all the trees…we could not take our eyes off these bright objects. The large one was over the little one and had red lights underneath it. It appeared to be in the shape of an octagon, but it kept darting so quickly…the large shape kept hovering and darting all around the little light and then it just took off like lightening. It was so quick that I could have sworn I saw a stream behind it…the little light kept shining and moved sporadically and much slower than the big one. For fifteen minutes they watched an octagon shape with lots of white, green and red lights." Source: www.nuforc.org

that were criss-crossed in the sky.
I counted three chem. trails that had just started spreading

bright light shot across the sky, like a shooting star; quickly.
It fizzled out, I could make out a small black dot for only a
fraction of a second, and then it was just gone.
I kept looking to see if there was any shape or outline.
None. The sky was
still light enough that no other stars were visible yet.
What amazed me was that this was under the chem. trails, not
above. A shooting star
would have to be much higher than chem. trails and clouds.

At 11:45 pm, witness “spotted a bright white cigar-shaped body cross the sky from a window in my classroom today. I stood up to gain a better view at which point the student in front of me asked if I had seen the object as well. The object was in view for no more than 5-6 seconds. The object was not a reflection because it passed behind a tree’s several branches and behind the projecting corner of the building I was in at the time. Object appeared to be moving too fast to be far away, i.e. if it were a plane at the distance estimated the plane was moving faster than any plane I have ever seen. If it were closer then I have estimated I should have been able to see wings or a tail. The object appeared to not be falling from the sky nor racing upwards but maintained a steady lateral vector.” Source: www.nuforc.org

We have a fair amount of air traffic over our home and this looked nothing like the typical large or small plane or helicopter. We watched for approximately 30 minutes. "I went for my usual evening walk. On my way home, I noticed there were three lights about a mile off the coast. The three lights were a few hundred feet apart from each other and they just hovered in place maybe 400 – 500 feet in the air. No blinking lights or movement, so I ruled out commercial planes. The lights were yellowish, but seemed to shift reddish in unison as they brightened. They were hovering in a triangle pattern...watched as the lights dimmed and brightened in unison for about twenty minutes...got to their brightest point and suddenly disappeared. They later reappeared in the same exact formation about a mile to the south. The brightness of the lights was far brighter than any plane I had ever seen. At one point, one of the three lights split into two bright lights for about ten seconds or so before becoming one light again. Twenty minutes after the second triangular formation, the lights just dimmed out of sight...when one light started to get bright, the other two also brightened.” Source: www.mufon.com

Lee "At approximately 23:50 I stepped outside on my porch for a cigarette. Out of the corner of my eye I noticed what appeared to be a bright off-white light moving from south to northeast at a very slow rate of speed. I had to lean my head back for a moment as the object appeared nearly right over the top of my head. It made no noise, and traveled very slowly and silently for about a minute and a half and suddenly rapidly accelerated at speeds I could not identify with any other aircraft I have ever seen maneuver before, due east, directly above the tree line. At that point, startled, I ran into the house and woke my mother from a dead sleep to validate the peculiar object. We both proceeded outside to which we witnessed it move back and forth, up and down, changing brightness, and at times what appeared even to be in shape for several minutes. There was extensive cloud cover on the horizon above the tree line, and enough overcast to create a haze over the rest of the objects in the sky, however this particular object remained extremely vibrant. I then proceeded to go to my computer and check my online star charts on worldwide telescope for the current time and date while my mother stayed outside and observed its odd behaviors. Nothing celestial even matched the intensity or positioning of this object. Note: I am an avid astronomer or over eight years, fluent with many of the night sky’s celestial content. Towards the end of the sighting I called the mufon hotline and reported the object as both my mother and I observed it…it later faded out, either disappearing or moving behind cloud cover…and seemed to independently illuminate the clouds as it left from view. More importantly, this is the second time I viewed this object, and woke my mom to validate the first sighting I witnessed, but did not report nearly a week ago…” It was seen for 19 minutes. Swanzey At 8:30 pm, “I was getting ready to observe Saturn at approximately 20:30 hours on 5/27/08, with my Takahashi FS102 refractor when I noticed a funny star in the vicinity of Leo. I could not yet see other stars in the sky as it was not quite dark enough. As I slewed my scope to the object that was not listed on any of my charts, I immediately noticed that this was nothing that I’ve ever witnessed, (been an avid astronomer for 22 years!) It was silver in appearance, with odd dark grey shadings and funny reflective lights seemed to omit from it. There was also a small point of light that was circling the sphere in oblong irregular patterns. It was completely stationary, I know because the side real tracking was turned on my mount and I had to compensate for it. It remained there for approximately 10-20 minutes. My girlfriend, who was with me also, witnessed the event. It then suddenly just disappeared into the sky.” Source: www.nuforc.org

"Red blinking light, then a dash across the sky. On Monday morning, approximately 12:30 am, I was sitting on my deck outside. The night was warm and clear. I was star gazing as I like to do. There was a red flashing light in a clearing above the mountains. We frequently see high transatlantic air traffic…as I was looking up to see if I had missed an aircraft passing over (because of the sound I was hearing), I saw the red light. It looked like it was heading I the direction of where I was observing it. But each time it blinked it seemed to be getting much closer very quickly. Faster than even some of the military jets we see up here that do exercises. Then, after about 3 or 4 blinks it veered 90 degrees to the east and went so fast that it literally appeared to be just a streak in the sky. I was lying on a lawn chair in the backyard. It was a beautiful day, the sky was a deep blue and the clouds were few and few between. I was staring up in the sky specifically looking for any odd craft-like objects, which I have done many times before. I could see typical airplanes fly by periodically. All of a sudden my eyes caught the object, it was like a small silver ball bearing, and it wasn’t moving. It was very high in the sky, further than any of the planes that I saw. It must have been several miles up. It didn’t move at all. I looked around to see if there were any stars out, but it was the middle of the day, there were no stars. I could see regular airplanes and they were moving and this object was not. I watched it for about ten minutes. Some clouds came by and covered the object, when the clouds disappeared, it was gone. I laid there and looked for it for another fifteen to twenty minutes. It was gone. Then after twenty minutes it reappeared just a little further southeast. At 3:10 am, “I saw three white lights moving across the sky in the northeast direction. At first I thought they were just stars, but then I noticed they were moving across the sky in perfect triangular formation. Not your ordinary perfect triangle, more like both sides were like 70 degree angles. It was too large to be a plane, in my opinion. I would estimate it was about the size of ten football fields. This thing was way up in the sky, and just kept going across the sky until I could not see it anymore. The lights did not come out of formation for a second. They stayed aligned the whole time. The top of the triangle was tailing the bottom two lights of the triangle in the northeast direction.” Source: www.nuforc.org July 25, 2008 Location unknown “Me and my girlfriend were sky watching from our bedroom window (we live on a high elevation and have a wonderful view of the horizon looking south towards Ashby, Ma.) I was lying on the bed looking out the window watching the sky (between 10:00 pm – 11:00 pm), when all of a sudden a green light or aura, with an inner red aura lit up the clouds not too far above the tree line. (The reason I say ‘aura’ is because the light seemed to completely surround the craft.) Inside the green-red aura was a cylinder shape craft standing up vertically, but immediately changed it’s orientation from vertical to horizontal and at this point I saw that there was some sort of exhaust coming out of the back of it. The color of the craft appeared to be a copper color, but I’m not sure, it could be that the red aura was shining on the craft, making it appear that color. As soon as I saw this I yelled and my girlfriend who was in the same room next to me looked out, but she only managed to see the green aura because it happened so fast (3-4 seconds). It appeared that craft turned on these lights so it could perform its transition from vertical to horizontal positioning, but that’s just a theory.” Source: www.mufon.com

At 7:45 pm, “I was traveling northwest and saw a bright light (airplane like, but not blinking and extremely bright) in the sky. Then it was joined by two more of the same look. The three lights moved around each other. I thought that if they were planes that they would crash. Then they vanished. I drove on. A few miles down the road I saw it again, except that the three lights were playing ‘leapfrog’ for five to ten seconds and then vanished. I waited about ten minutes, then I saw one of the lights for approximately two to three seconds and it vanished.” Source: www.nuforc.org September 23,

The distance between the lights must have been at least thirty feet, it was very brief, just there, then not there...The lights were white and yellow a lot smaller looking and there were several aircraft on the horizon.” Source: www.mufon.com

Whitefield At 8:30 pm, “I saw in the southeast sky, very high-tree top level-a crown shape (half oval) object. The object looked very large (about 100 yards across) with yellowish lights, five in all, two, then one center one, then two more, with the center one being larger than the others. It made no sound, but was very brilliant and flashed slightly. It then vanished from left to right in the blink of an eye. One minute later I heard the road of a high performance jet engine from the same area of sky (perhaps a chaser), but what I saw earlier was no plane.” Source: www.ufosnw.com

It traveled extremely fast from one side of my vision to the other side of my vision in about three seconds. No noise. It was large and close to earth." Source: www.nhufo.org

At 10:14 pm, “Once again, I was lying in bed watching TV and saw a single light in the field behind my house. I woke up my husband and I went out on the balcony. My three boys were downstairs and also saw the light and came to our room. The light rose out of the field and two more lights became visible in the shape of a triangle. There were some smaller red flashing lights right close to the first light. There was also a beam of light projecting across the sky in the direction the object was flying. It proceeded to fly over our house heading south. As it went over, we heard a low, rumbling sound. This is the second time we have seen this craft.” Source: www.nuforc.org

"As I was walking to the parking garage and looking down the street between the parking garage and my building. Two close together yellowish lights passed across the sky and behind a high rise. Maybe between 500-700 feet in the air. Climbing the steps in the garage, I realized I didn’t hear any jet of prop noise. I settled in on the roof of the parking garage. After five minutes of scanning the sky I focused on a twinkling red light northwest in the sky...I could tell it was moving, not slowly, but in rapid jerky movements in random directions, far too fast to be any sort of conventional aircraft...after fifteen minutes it appeared to be closer, and I could make of other lights, as if it were a triangle or tetrahedron that were tumbling around as it moved...I saw another set of lights, one white and one yellowish on the horizon west of me. Again, at first they seemed stationary and I didn’t hear any jet noise, so I continued to watch them for a few minutes, and they were slowly moving back and forth in unison, approximately four to five seconds at a time, before stopping and moving in the other direction.” Source: www.mufon.com

"My husband and I were watching TV at about 8:30 and we heard the roar or supersonic jet engines over our rooftop. We went out to the front porch to see what it was and instead our eyes were drawn to a fast moving semi-circular set of three blinking lights on something that was moving very fast, horizontally, in the southeast sky. The blinking lights appeared to be below the craft...it dropped sharply and vertically below the tree line. We went back inside and again heard the roar of jet engines. I spoke with my neighbor about it and he said military jets were in our neighborhood last night. He’s an airplane mechanic at a military base nearby. He did not come out to check it out because he recognized the jet engine sound. Lasted two to three minutes.” Source: www.nuforc.org

At 6:00 pm, “I was out on the porch talking to my mom and we had seen a bright (light) – what appeared to be a plane...it was moving way too fast, it had a trail following it, but it never left a trail behind. It always followed a few feet behind the light. I was looking to the northwest sky and it was moving north...it turned real quick and then just disappeared with no signs of it at all being there. There was no way for it to be a plane or even a meteor.” Source: www.nhufo.org

Warner "My husband and I went outside our home in Warner at approximately 6:00 pm. There were two extremely bright objects hovering above the tree line. One was just above the tree line from where I stood...there was a second object that hovered directly perpendicular above the first, and they seemed to move in conjunction. The lights radiated from the craft at the tree line in the form of beams in all directions from the center, straight out. The intensity of the light on both objects started out very strong, the one at the tree line strongest at first, but then the second became brighter. Their movements were erratic, hovering, yet moving slightly within a small area on the horizon line. I observed this activity until both lights disappeared, roughly thirty minutes.” Source: www.mufon.com

At 10:00 pm, “Stopped in the road so we could look at it, right in front of us in the sky, out in the distance...looking like a star blowing up in the sky. It started out a very, very intense bright, sort of goldish shimmering light in the distance, way bigger than any star...it seemed like it wasn’t that far away...a little bit above the trees...could see through the trees about 3 or 4 headlight colored sphere like lights clustered near each other in a slight V formation...then it came over some tree tops, past my house. At that point I was driving up my road and it was directly in front of us. You could no longer see any bright lights at all, just black in between these two or three small white lights, which seemed to form a triangular pattern, a blue light and red. Then the object moves from in front of us, slowly following the tree line, moving fast.” Source: www.nuforc.org
