“While living on Cotton Hill, our location gave us a full view of Lake Winnisquam.  One summer evening I was out on the deck looking in the distance out over Lake Winnisquam and I saw what looked like orange dots.  I got my binoculars for a better look and saw several orange dots with smaller white lights that appeared to be buzzing around like fireflies around the larger orange dots.  This was observed for about five to ten minutes.  This sight was seen again, about six more times during a two year period.”

“At 10:18 pm,   “My husband and I were traveling north on route 12 through Walpole, N.H. on the way home.  I had looked at our trucks clock at 10:18 pm when we were still in Westmoreland on route 12. So it was two minutes later when we entered Walpole that we spotted it.  Whatever the start point, we did not see from the view of our truck.  It came directly into out line of sight from above, diagonally crossing our path from west to east, plummeting in a swift-looking decline towards the area to our east, which we rationalized as the area of Alstead or Surry, N.H.  My husband is very familiar with the area; having grown up here…It was a large bright fluorescent green orb in the center, perfectly round, with a bright red arrow head shape surrounding it.  The visual impression suggested a great speed of decline with no impression of slowing, as for a landing.   We have seen an increase in military air travel in the area of our sighting.”

At 5:10 pm, "I was in the kitchen cooking dinner when Todd came in from the living room all excited because he had seen a UFO.  It was a steady, bright white light that zipped low through the sky.  He had seen it looking out the window.  As he was explaining what he saw, Sue called and as soon as I answered I heard her yell, “I just saw a UFO, it was fast but low…” I butt in, “Yeah, Todd just saw it, too.”

At 5:40 pm, "While standing on the back steps I heard an airplane then realized the sound was lower, and a bit quieter, but definitely different from the normal aircraft.  I looked up and saw lights close up overhead.  I was able to see four white lights in front, but spaced out enough to look like a square.  The craft was long, an obelisk shape with four lights, one in each corner of the flat bottom. No wings.  In the middle of the craft it looked like a hula-hoop around the craft with three steady white lights and one red blinking light. It

At 2:50 am, a “beam of light appeared to be coming down out of the low clouds/mist, like a search light.  No sounds.  Rainy, misty night with low clouds.  Dog started barking, so I went outside to investigate.  While standing on the front porch a light appeared from the sky and started going up and down the river.  Sort of reminded me of a search light on a helicopter, which was my first thought.  Then I realized there wasn’t any helicopter sound.  Tried to see where the light was coming from, just straight down out of the clouds/mist.  This lasted approximately five minutes and then the light disappeared.”

"I was driving my car in a residential area of Haverhill, MA going back home from picking up a pizza.  As I drove up Hilldale  Ave.  I noticed a light in the sky that looked stationary.  I had no idea what it was, but because it wasn’t moving it caught my eye.  As I got closer, I pulled over letting cars go past me, and leaned out the window to see this object almost directly above me.  I estimate it was 1200 feet above me.  The object was a dark grey triangular object with two red lights and at the bottom two criss-cross long panels with white lights on them.  The strangest part of what I saw was the cobalt colored “blue mist” surrounding the object…when it started to move it made a low whooshing sound.  As it moved, the blue mist surrounding it stayed with the object.  It moved slow, but out of sight quickly.  I observed the object for forty seconds.”

"At approximately 6:10 pm my wife and I saw a round, bright, glowing object, which was white with blue, purple and green blinking lights towards the middle of the orb.  After about five minutes it looked to be elliptical.  It looked so close.  We saw planes fly below it and above it but the object was fifty times the size of the other lights from the planes.  My mother-in-law came out and I showed her with the binoculars and she was puzzled at what this could have been.  It moved from about ten feet above the tree line towards the right and down extremely slowly, and moved below the tree line and away within about fifteen minutes of the sighting.  Since the summer of ’06 I have seen the object several times, calling the police department, and also a local news station with no results.  There have been several witnesses in my neighborhood, also.  When contacting the police, two minutes after a quickly blinking light streaked across the sky underneath it.  The object darted away as if a warning shot had been fired.  It is always seen to the western sky, from my house in the northeast portion of my town.”

"Witness states he was seated in his living room, facing a window and talking to his 92 year old mother when he happened to glance out the window and saw a round, silver object coming toward his home over a tree line.  At first he thought it might be an aircraft but then it hovered.  He called his wife but she could not locate it.  The object ascended at a 45-degree angle until the window frame blocked his view.  He got up and went into the kitchen, opened the door, but the object was gone.  He described the object as looking like a pinball from a pinball machine.”

February 6, 2007                  Laconia

"At 7:00 pm, I stepped outside with the dog and noticed an orange light glowing just barely above the trees in the horizon over Sanbornton.  It was orange for four seconds then turned lime green and went lower than the trees, out of view.  I didn’t see it again.  A few minutes later there was a red and white blinking light coming towards Laconia, crossing over Lake Winnisquam.  It looked like a plane, but then the blinking lights appeared to be more than two at a time and jumping around.  I got my binoculars and my twelve-year-old son came out with his new mini-camcorder.  He set up to view the plane and see it could record in the dark.  I looked through the binoculars and saw red and white blinking lights flying low over the lake. My son was excitedly trying to get my attention because what he could see on the little video screen was several colored lights on one object, randomly blinking.  He taped twenty-eight seconds as the silent object got closer and flew to the right of us and out of our sight over Laconia.  We downloaded the clip to the computer and were able to view it on a larger screen then break it down to see thirty frames per second. Each frame had a different configuration of lights.  One frame had a single red light, the next showed several lights including yellow, blue, purple, pink, red, white and green.  When played at real time, it was impossible for our eyes to keep up with the colors or speed.  When slowed down, the clip shows a disk shaped craft with many blinking lights circling the outer edge.  I noticed that when I looked with and without the binoculars, I only saw red and white lights.  The camera lenses were able to capture the colors humans can’t see as the lights blinked at such rapid speeds.  After taping twenty-eight seconds the object was closest to us and the view screen started showing too much static and was stopped."

At 10:30 pm, “UFO making impossible flight path, N.H. upper CT. River Valley.  Looked like a medium-brightness star, moving approximately 4-5 times the speed of a jet.  It paused; made an impossible 90-degree turn, and shot rapidly across the sky, paused again and then made another 90 degree turn.  It then slowly circled around (like reversing direction), then made another impossible turn in the opposite direction at a rapid rate.  No noise, was very high in the sky.  Sighting lasted 10-15 seconds.”

At 2:00 am, a “Large ball of white light that appeared to land, 10 seconds.  I awoke this morning and felt startled.  However, there was no noise or reason for feeling this way.  Looking out over the pine trees in my backfield I saw a large ‘beach ball’ type object brightly lit with a few darker patchy areas.  I had an excellent view as we have a sliding door in the bedroom and the curtain was pulled open with the door slightly ajar as well.  The object was not moving in a regular smooth path, sort of hovering but going up and down with the whole objects lights going off and on at the same time.  Guessing I would say it was moving up and down about 30 – 50 feet erratically, then suddenly it moved left and went straight down, totally silent.  For a brief moment the distant field appeared to light up, and then darkness as if it was never there.”

"I had been doing my email, around 10 pm, and was quite centered on the computer at the time.  I don’t know why I looked up and turned around to face the window, but when I did I was stunned by the sight of a large fiery-looking object in the sky.  It was from the east.  As I watched it, it veered towards the north.  The color was a striking flaming-orange and looked totally unusual and out of place.  So I looked at it through my 7 x 35 binocular, which was on the bookcase near the window.  I was able to see that under magnification the object was a group of lights surrounded by a halo, or oval ring that had depth to it.  To the naked eye the object appeared to be a rather fuzzy, flaming orange colored circular mass.  It was traveling horizontally, just above a wispy cloud cover that was moving in.  It was moving quite a bit faster than an airplane, but nowhere near fast enough to be considered a meteor of any sort.  It did not appear to be falling.  At one point I noticed a bright star-like object, which was near the object but traveling a short distance away.  It appeared to be at the same altitude.  I think it may have been released out the back end of the fireball object, but I am not sure.  The orange object faded from view as it entered a cloud bank which was moving into the northeast quadrant of the sky.”

"Wobbling in flight/bright white light in sky for 2-3 minutes.  Nine of us saw this.  We were sitting around the campfire in Success, N.H. at around 9:30 – 9:45 pm at the edge of Success Pond.  Other than the several camps around the pond, there is nothing in the way of civilization for many miles, going in any direction.  There are no streetlights and no light pollution from them.  Overhead, coming out of the west, a very bright whitish light could be seen, moving at a high rate of speed.  The light was bigger than Venus in size, and as bright or maybe a bit brighter, and the color was the blue tinged white like a white LED or classic fluorescent kind of white.  There appeared to be a football shape to the light.  It traveled over our heads, across the pond, going in an east-northeast direction, vanishing over the state of Maine.  It was above the clouds as it vanished behind the high clouds twice, to reappear after getting into the clear sky again.  It would be easy to pass what we saw off as a satellite in orbit, but it was clearly wobbling and moved like a fish tail in water, in a shallow s or slalom back and forth, while maintaining a straight course.  It was also much brighter and larger than any normal satellite would be.  It was in sight for 2-3 minutes before vanishing over the horizon.  There was no noise.”

"Red light hovering over Winnisquam, for one hour.  Around 11:30 pm I heard a noise that sounded as if it were something hovering over the lake house.  The sound was as if there had been a massive object above the house, lasting about 5 minutes.  After about a half hour I was still unable to sleep and so I went to another room to watch tv.  I decided to step outside to check out the meteors (hoping to see some more).  Around 12:30 I looked across the lake and saw a strange red light hovering over the shoreline.  It moved slightly from time to time, as if it were trying to balance itself out again.  A bit closer and to the left there was another object moving in a similar manner, which was white.  I watched the red light for a while; it would sometimes drop and then move higher up again.  Also, every so often a flash of red and white light would appear on one side or another.  I at first hoped it would come near to me, and at one point it seemed to start to move closer but it made me slightly nervous.  I felt a bit apprehensive and excited at the same time, and I felt that whatever it was could sense my reluctance toward it coming too close and it backed off.  Whatever it was felt out of this world to me and seemed to understand my anxiety.  Around 1:00 am I went back inside, it was still hovering.”

For one minute a “bright flash of light, turning to pinpoint of light that traveled silently and quickly through night sky.  At 9:40 pm, husband and wife were meteor watching when a bright flash of white light (as if someone snapped a photo with a large flash) from the southern sky caught our attention.  We noted a small pinpoint of light traveling quickly from the flash’s point of origin.  The object was too high to be a plane and silent.  It traveled in an arc overhead at a steady rate of speed from south to north until we lost sight of it over the mountains of Canada.”

At 12:10 am for ten minutes a disk or “saucer stopped and appeared to search for something before flying behind Mount Washington.  Just after midnight, my teenage son was sitting alone on the veranda of the Inn where we were staying while talking on his cell phone.  He noticed a dome-topped saucer shaped object with three lights circling underneath fly silently over the valley just in front of him.  He tried to take a picture of the object with his cell phone, but, unfortunately, the picture didn’t come out.  The saucer came to a stop over a stand of trees and searchlights illuminated the trees below as if the unseen occupants were looking for something.  The searchlights ended abruptly and the object immediately flew off at a high speed and disappeared behind Mount Washington.  The object then reappeared next to the mountain a minute, or so later.  My terrified son (who is quite skeptical about UFO’s) came up to our room to wake us and get a camera.  My husband, daughter, and I followed him down to the veranda for a look.  The object still appeared next to the mountain…another hotel guest, who is a pilot, happened to be looking out the window and a few minutes earlier and noticed a plane flying over the valley and joked that the guy flying the plane must have been on a suicide mission as no pilot would fly so low through a valley surrounded by mountains in the pitch black of night…as we watched, it appeared two small jets approached the object and disappeared behind the mountain.  The UFO disappeared shortly after that.”

At 8:45 pm, "I stepped outside and looked up at what I first thought was an airplane.  But then noticed the front of it was pointed with sides that went straight back, like a triangle, not with wings.  As it got closer it went right over my backyard, about 100 feet over the trees and I could see it wasn’t a triangle, it only looked that way when it was coming towards me.  It was square shaped, with one of the points taking the forefront, as it headed in that direction.  I could hear a very low rumbling noise, like hearing a Harley motorcycle from a distance.  I had my husband and son come outside to see it.  The craft came from Gilford/Laconia, over my house, curved and went over the lake (Winnisquam) and went out of sight as it continued over Sanbornton.  Sighting lasted 1 minute as it went overhead, and I watched it for another 2 minutes as it disappeared in the distance."

At 8:40 pm, for five minutes “three steady orange lights in a triangular formation, much bigger than a conventional aircraft, moving slowly from east to north.  At 8:40 pm I went outside to take a walk and noticed in the northeast two bright orange lights, moving slowly, in tandem toward the left.   The brighter of the two was the same brightness as Jupiter, which had been prominent in the southwest sky for weeks now.  The second was a bit dimmer.  At first it reminded me of the tandem flyover of the space shuttle and ISS a couple months ago, except they were going in the wrong direction and were completely the wrong color.  However, the speed was similar and the brighter light appeared to be followed by the other.  The lights were low in the sky and soon moved behind some trees.  When they came back into view, I realized there were 3 orange lights forming a broad-based triangle with the two dimmer lights at the bottom and the brighter at the top, between them.  As they headed behind some trees again, then behind the house across the street, I called for my daughter…I saw the lights once more between the trees.  The lights were in a different configuration-as if the brighter light were catching up with one of the dimmer ones.  I didn’t hear anything.”

At 2:00 am,      “A man was driving home from work when he noticed bright lights that looked like headlights on top of a light post in the parking lot next to a gas station.  He thought it was just a streetlight he hadn’t noticed before.  He drove on and after a few moments realized the lights had followed him.  He stopped the car, got out, the lights were gone.  As he was standing looking around, he turned and there it was, silently hovering in the air.  Then the lights went on and it started making noise, then it was gone.  He drove two miles to his home and sat in his car for a few minutes, thinking he had lost his mind.  He got out of the car and saw the same lights in the distance just above the tree line.  It didn’t make noise until it moved.  He tried to get a picture with his phone, but it was frozen with black lines down the screen.  When he looked back at the lights they had shot a great distance way up in the sky.”

“I was working outside my home when I looked up at the sky.  I saw one spherical in shape object.  At first it seemed to be staying in place, then started to move in a northeastern direction.  It made no sound and continued in that direction for about 10 seconds, I thought at first it might be a balloon but it was so round.  Then stopped in place, something I have never seen a balloon do.  I looked away for 2 seconds, looked back and the object was gone.”

A 2nd report of the same sighting:  “I saw something similar on the same day, around 3:20 pm.”

“We drove onto Morse Rd. when we saw two shiny orange spheres being stationary above very tall pine trees on the left side of the road.  They did not look like a cell phone tower.  We stopped to gaze in amazement at them.  Then one ‘gave birth’ to a third sphere.  The new third sphere slid to the left of the first sphere.  There were three spheres on a very cold and clear evening.  We drove on down the road, saw some extravagant holiday lights and returned to the same spot later to find them gone.  Maybe 10 minutes or less had passed.”

Note from nhufo.org:  When trying to find the location, searching for Morse Road, could only find Morse Ave. in Nashua, and Morse Drive in Hooksett.

At 11:00 pm, “My attention was drawn to an unusual shape in the sky, a perfect square.  This square of light pulsed on and off without regularity.  For instance, it may have glowed for 5 seconds, then didn’t for 3 seconds, glowed again for 2 seconds, then didn’t for 7, etc.  I watched this for approximately five minutes before I went for my camera.  Zooming in on the photo, I can see a string of lights that may be windows.”

December 29, 2007             Location unknown

At 10:45 pm, “a light beam resembling a car light beam (it was a broad band of light) was seen entering a cloud that was at the level of Orion’s Belt in the southeastern sky.  There was no craft seen, nor any noise heard.  The azimuth was about 160 degrees and the height was over 20,000 feet as confirmed by the Pease International airport operation with a cloud cover of 25,000 feet that was broken.  There was no sound at any time.  Neither were there any red or green lights that shone at any time during the sighting nor was there any noise, maybe because of the height.  The light entered the cloud and never saw it again as it traveled into the cloud.  His conversation with Pease Base operations officer confirmed information center to confirm these facts which told him that they had no incoming aircraft at that time of night nor did he know of any radar confirmation of the object.”
