During 2006                                        Belmont

“While living on Cotton Hill, our location gave us a full view of Lake Winnisquam.  One summer evening I was out on the deck looking in the distance out over Lake Winnisquam and I saw what looked like orange dots.  I got my binoculars for a better look and saw several orange dots with smaller white lights that appeared to be buzzing around like fireflies around the larger orange dots.  This was observed for about five to ten minutes.  This sight was seen again, about six more times during a two year period.”

"At 11:30 pm, “In January, while in bed, I looked up to see stars.  I noticed a strobing flash, but thought it was a commercial airliner.  A few seconds passed, I glanced back and it occurred to me that it hadn’t moved.  It was stationary about eight minutes.  I got my binoculars for a closer look.  I found the object was much farther away than I first thought.  There were three, four or five other strobing lights in close vicinity.  I woke up my husband for a witness to what I was seeing.  While observing these lights until 2:00 am, the Earth’s rotation had moved the stars but the lights were in the same place.”

Witness saw the same thing on March 26, 2006.”

At 4:00 am, “When I went outside to start my car, I heard the sound of a motor, like that of a huge fan on top of a building.  I noticed a cloud in the southern sky and I saw a blinking light behind the clouds.  Then I saw several bright lights blinking at random, like several fireflies.  This went on for several minutes, in the same spot.  When the noise subsided, the blinking lights moved toward the horizon and disappeared.  Sighting lasted about ten minutes.”

At 4:20 pm, “A triangle object was seen by two people for five to ten minutes.  I could not believe my eyes. This thing in the sky appeared out of nowhere.  It was looking to me as if I were about six feet from it.  I was driving down a main road and it appeared to the right side of my window, as if it were following me and then disappeared.  Again I looked around and there it was just looking as if it was not moving at all in the sky, this time it was farther away.  It was shaped like a triangle and I could only see a black and grey color.  I stopped on the road to try and get a better look and I could see it hovering over the same spot and then this thing vanished.”

January 26, 2006                 Piermont

At 4:00 pm, “Outside Corinth and Bradford, Vermont, I was driving east and saw a really bright flash in the sky.  After driving another ten miles I saw in the east sky a diagonal line form, from left to right, at a forty-five degree angle, of one light after another.  One appeared, and then to the right and higher another one appeared.  Then they disappeared in the order they appeared, like playing leapfrog.  They did the same thing, only much higher.  They repeated the pattern three times.  The objects were actually across the river in New Hampshire. Sightings lasted five minutes.”   Across the river is Piermont.

February 8, 2006                  Tilton

At 8:15 to 8:45 pm, “I was driving south on Rte. 132, Sanborn Road in Tilton, when I saw a low flying black triangle.  It was huge, about the size of a small parking lot.  It was hovering and moving very, very slowly.  I thought, ‘I could walk faster than it’s flying’.  It was just barely above the power lines and at times looked closer, below treetops.  The lights stayed bright, not blinking.  It had a large white light in each corner and in the middle of the side, and a red light underneath, on the bottom.  I pulled my car off the road onto Industrial Park road to watch it as it was directly over me.  There were no wings, and no noise.  I could see the black metal surface; it didn’t look smooth, more like pitted, very rough looking.  There weren’t any windows or door that I could see.  I watched it for thirty minutes until an unmarked white van pulled into the parking lot and came up behind my car.  I got spooked, even more, and quickly drove out of there and went home.”

“Went to the bathroom and noticed a bright, pure white light.  It sped back and forth and then started to oscillate and dim and brighten.  Then it looked like an hourglass shape and moved back and forth and up and down in a jumpy motion.  After twenty-five minutes it just disappeared.”  Witness saw the same thing on March 7, 2006”

March 6, 2006                        Laconia

At 6:15 to 6:30 pm, "At the sunset I spotted something making a long, black exhaust smoke contrail.   Through binoculars I saw a large, long, black “rocket-looking-type” object.  There were no wings and it moved very slowly straight up.  It appeared to be struggling to get altitude, because it took almost ten minutes to climb what must have been two thousand feet.  I thought I was going to witness a crash.  When our planes are in distress, they go down not straight up, which means that the UFO had the ability to hover and keep from crashing.  During the whole sighting, off to the right, a black jet with red and white blinking lights hovered in place, also leaving black exhaust, and it appeared to be waiting for the UFO to fix itself.   As the UFO slowly climbed higher I could see a tiny blinking white light, but couldn’t see where on the craft it came from.  It went up and as I watched, the craft became invisible even though I could still see the tiny blinking white light, and it no longer left a black exhaust trail.  The blinking light stopped and nothing remained to show it was there.  At this point, the jet that had been able to hover in place the whole time, started to move.  It slowly arced to the right and took off over Lake Winnisquam toward Meredith.   I was able to take two photographs."

March 22, 2006                    Contoocook

At 7:35 pm, “Two witnesses saw an orb-like circle object for three seconds.  My boyfriend and I live in this small village about twenty minutes from Concord.  He had just finished walking me home and was going down my driveway looking up.  I went inside.  The lights flickered and the ground shook for a few seconds.  Then my cell phone rang, it was my boyfriend yelling excitedly, claiming he saw a UFO.  There was one orb-like thing and the color was bright yellow, while the path it left was changing colors from yellow to red to blue then faded.  We heard no noise except for the ground shaking at my house.  It followed an arc-like pattern for three seconds before it went past some trees, going north by northwest.  The size was about a quarter size smaller than a full moon.  The sky was clear and there were some trees behind my house, but none in the parking lot where you could clearly it. We both had tension and painful burning sensations in our heads and stomachs, but that could have been from excitement as well.”

March 26, 2006                     Milan

At 10:00 pm, “In the exact same spot (as January) were strobe lights.  I watched for a few seconds and then told my husband to look.  He witnessed the lights.  There were four or five white strobing lights, each one taking turn getting brighter, although there wasn’t a pattern.  They could be seen without binoculars.  Through binoculars it was clearer but still without shape.  I watched until 10:30, when the lights slowly got dimmer as they moved away.”

At 8:00 pm, “My mother first saw strange lights out of her bedroom window.  I thought it was the moon, but it kept flashing brilliantly.  It might have been two objects in tandem as it flared up in brilliance at least twice and then faded out so that it almost disappeared.”

At 10:43 pm, “We were sitting at a campfire and saw a round blinking light moving side to side, back and forth and I felt strange.  The blinking light was red, yellow and white in that pattern.  My friends and I heard this whooshing/beeping sound.  As that was happening, I felt a warm pulsating shock.  It went over the mountain and landed or disappeared.  It was disc shaped and the sighting lasted five minutes.”

At 10:30 pm, “Two witnesses saw triangle for thirty seconds.  A father and son were standing in a parking lot, looked up into the sky and saw a triangle, flying lower than a jet.  It had a circle in each of its points, if they were lights, they were very dim.  It was going very fast, like gliding, absolutely no sound, no hum.  It almost stopped and took a sharp forty-five degree turn to the left and was gone.”

At 10:20 to 10:40 pm, "From my backyard in Laconia I watched a UFO with white, red and green lights blinking.  Sometimes they blinked one at a time, and then some colors would blink rapidly at the same time.  It went up, down and side to side in a slow motion, not going very far in any direction.  It stayed in the same area doing this for twenty minutes until it faded out and was gone.  It was close to Steele Hill in Sanbornton.  While I was at home watching the UFO, my husband and son were coming home in the truck.  My son saw something in the distance that was blinking all the colors, red, yellow, blue, white and green.  He saw it for about one minute until they lost sight of it behind trees. June 15, 2006                       New Hampton

At 1:00 pm, witness “was traveling west on Route 104, approaching Bobby’s Girl Diner, when I noticed four lighted white orbs moving within a cloud.  The four objects would gather at the center of the cloud and then disperse very quickly to the edges, each one moving in a different direction and appearing to move in a circle until reuniting back at the center of the cloud.  The entire process took about ten seconds, continually moving out from and then backs into the center.  I parked the car and watched the event for about twenty minutes.  They moved within the cloud and with the cloud.  They did not travel in a straight line from the center, more of a haphazard movement.”

"I was traveling south bound on the Daniel Webster Highway at about 10:40 in the morning.  I stopped at the set of lights just before Cumberland Farms and Allen Mello Dodge car dealership in the south end of Nashua.  The weather was nice so I had my window down as I traveled to the Pheasant Lane Mall.  Just as I stopped I looked out the window and noticed a metallic glint of sun off of a long object at about my ten or eleven o’clock position.  Distance was hard to determine as well as elevation.  I’m a pilot and tend to always look at the sky and try to identify planes.  I assumed that I was catching the reflecting sunlight was coming off the leading edge of wing.  As the object continued to bank slightly, the reflecting sunlight faded and all that remained was a long black object that was about a forty-five degree angle to the horizon.  It was not a plane turning and it descended slightly in the direction it was angled and then appeared to either vanish or speed away until it was no longer visible.  Again I cannot confirm distance or altitude.  I do know that what I saw was certainly no aircraft I have seen.”

At 2:50 am,    “During a break at work, six people went outside to have cigarettes.  All were standing in a group, when suddenly they all saw a bright light that looked like a star come straight down to earth.  It was so fast that all agreed if they had blinked, they would have missed it.  The light didn’t have a trail or tail and no noise were heard.  Nothing else was seen after.  One person thought it came down over the Tilton Shaw’s or maybe Silver Lake, close by.”

At 10:00 pm, “For thirty seconds, bright headlights, pulsating object moving in rapid multiple directions.  As witnessed by two friends and myself.  While enjoying vacation in the White Mountains, we were standing outside on a deck watching a meteor shower.  Then something strange occurred.  From the west, there was what appeared to be a plane flying by.  I noticed that its headlights were on so I assumed it was getting ready to land.  Then the headlights turned directly at us.  They shined at us briefly, three seconds, and then the object continued on its path.  This is where it got very strange.  The object stopped in mid air and then changed directions.  There was no delay, it stopped in its tracks and began heading in the opposite direction.  The object began moving in a somewhat zigzag fashion across the sky.  It would head north, then south, then west almost as if it was climbing stairs.  It then vanished.  There was no noise.  When the headlights were not facing us it appeared to pulsate.”

At 10:45 am, “I was sitting on the couch in my living room looking out the picture glass window.  I was looking at the clouds and saw this thing in the clouds that I thought was a plane at first.  I began to watch it move erratically; stopping, going backward quickly, then going forward again.  Then it went through a cloud, made a quick turn to the southwest and accelerated very fast until it was out of view.  It was cigar shaped, metallic, and looked like a silver color.  It was rounded at the corners.  Looked like it could maneuver very well.  Made no sound….it accelerated to the southwest very fast and went beyond my view.”

August 16, 2006                   Plymouth

"Driving home after the circus, I looked right, crossing the railroad track near my home and noticed a UFO hovering above the tracks.  I decided to see what it was so I drove towards it hoping to get a better look, while phoning my sister to tell her what I was seeing.  I had my camera with me, so I grabbed it and started taking pictures.  At first, couldn’t get it to show up, although the object itself was illuminated.  I stopped in a parking lot where I had a clear view and continued to take pictures while talking to my sister.  I looked at my camera to try to change the settings and when I looked back it was moving away.  I got in my truck and started to follow it.  And as I was driving down Plymouth road, I keep wondering why no one else was stopping to see it.  As I came around a bend I saw four airplanes and a helicopter.  I noticed that it had stopped again and was hovering just above the treetops.  It appeared to be enormous, at least the size of a house…I heard the helicopter, looked to the right.  When I looked back to the left where the object had been hovering, it was no longer there.  The object appeared to be translucent and very bright.  The entire sighting lasted about ten minutes.”

At 9:25 pm, “For ten minutes a pulsating multi-colored light, stationary then moving to high speed.  I was sitting in my easy chair watching television.  Through the window to my left I noticed a bright red flashing light stationary in the western sky.  I expected it to move but it didn’t.  As I watched it for a minute or so, the red light changed from a single red light to a somewhat circular array of less intense lights that did not flash.  I could now see red, white and blue-green colored lights.  I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me so I got up and went outside with binoculars.  As I watched, it would alternate between the two light patterns.  After about one minute it started to move toward the east.  It moved slowly at first and rapidly gained speed as it passed overhead and went out of sight to the east.  It was a very quiet night with no wind and we did not hear a sound.  It accelerated to a speed faster than a jet plane.  A moment after, we lost sight of it.  My wife was standing beside me watching this also.  We saw what looked like a very bright meteor drop almost straight down, about five degrees to the left of where we had last seen the odd lights, which had passed, out of our view behind trees.  The meteor was bright yellow and lasted only a second.  It may have had nothing to do with the lights we were watching.  Most of the sky was very clear and full of stars.”

“I was just pulling into my driveway at dusk when I look out the window and see this craft.  It was a jet black, perfect equilateral triangle.  From the trajectory I could judge that this thing was less than five hundred feet in the air and was approximately forty feet across.  By those two figures the speed can be calculated at a considerably slow speed (50-70 mph) I also noticed that this thing made zero sound, and had no blinking lights – which are required on aircraft.  What it did have was a red light on each tip and a blue light in the center, which seemed to have a swirl in it.”

"At 6:30 pm, I was standing in my driveway saying goodbye to a friend when I noticed a group of seven white star-like lights moving quickly overhead in the clouds.  I pointed to them to show my friend, and then we noticed there were other groups of lights spread out in the sky above, all traveling at the same speed and in the same direction, NW to SE.  I got my husband and another friend to come out and see them.  There were so many that we all pointed to different areas of the sky as another moving group became visible between the clouds above.  To make sure it wasn’t an optical illusion because the clouds were going in the opposite direction, we used electric and telephone wires above us, to focus on and watch the lights quickly cross behind the wires.  We watched for almost five minutes until there were no more moving lights and all that remained were the stars in their stationary positions.  We were not able to get an accurate count, but there may have been as many as fifty of more.  There may have been others that had passed overhead before I noticed them.”
