January    2003                     Portsmouth

"Betty Hill quite seriously says her last sighting was during the Portsmouth Christmas Parade this past January, when a craft with three red lights on top hovered over her neighborhood.  ‘I assumed they were watching the Christmas Parade.  Even now they’re out there flying over Great Bay.  Basically they follow the rivers.’”

At 1:30 am, “Huge bright white circular light divides into four and maneuvers over NH skies.  A cold clear NH night in January 2003.  We saw a huge bright white circle glowing in the southeastern sky.  It hovered for several minutes.  There was no sound.  The farm animals were restless.  It then divided equally and in unison into four smaller white circles.  Each one of the smaller craft went through a series of maneuvers, including tight zig-zags, up and down, and in circles.  This went on for approximately ten minutes.  Then all four just stopped dead in the sky and hovered at an equal distance from each other for about two minutes.  They then began to line up, one behind another and sped away, zig-zagging into the south western sky.”

At 5:30 pm, “Streak of light moving over Rte. 93, while driving home.  There was a clear sky, and it was very cold.  Out of nowhere an intense white, flashy bright light moved so fast it was gone behind the tree line in a blink of an eye.  It seemed to leave a very light tail behind it.  It lasted about thirty seconds.  It did not descend.  It had the speed of a shooting star.”

At 6:30 pm, “Looking out a car window into the sky I saw a green fireball.  It was like a green comet with a short tail.  When I first saw it, it was very visible and deep green.  The object picked up speed and then started to get duller and the tail started to get shorter.  After about five seconds the object vanished from sight.  It looked like a leaf green comet-like flying object/fireball at least one thousand feet up, three hundred feet max.  It was shooting in the sky at speeds faster than an airplane.”

May 1 or 2, 2003                  Concord

At 11:30 pm, “Mysterious metal found.  The newspaper reports Hope MacDonald awoke to a loud bang and a bright light.  The next day her tenant found a small piece of charred metal that reeked of fuel and was covered in more than an inch of glob.  The noise was enough to alarm her and scare her cat off her bed.  The metal was enough for her to call her son, a state trooper, who then called the F.A.A., who said the metal appears to be from a snowmobile and asserted there was a trail next to her house.  That’s a lie, there’s no trail next to her house.  She’s not crazy and she knows what she saw, the brightest light she’s seen in her whole life.  Something banged the back of her house and at the same moment the bright light, and then it was gone.  The next day a four-inch by seven-inch piece of metal was found on the lawn.  The metal appeared to have been welded onto something.”

August 8, 2003                      Manchester

At 3:15 pm, “A shiny diamond object that made a pocket in the clear sky and disappeared through it leaving a wisp of cloud, fifteen to thirty seconds.  It was a clear blue sky, no clouds except on the horizon.  I was lying in my hammock when I saw the object fly straight over my head, fast, no sound.  It opened a pocket in the clear blue sky and disappeared through it!  When the pocket closed a wisp of white cloud came out and drifted over the sky.  The object was shiny and looked like it was reflecting the ground, which would make it very close.  The object was going much faster than the planes that approach the local airport and it had to be pretty to be reflecting ground.  Also, even though it was usually a busy time at the airport, there were no other aircraft in the vicinity.”

At 2:15 to 2:50 pm, “While sitting in my yard in the shade and looking northwest up through the trees into the clear blue sky.  I thought I was witnessing a meteor shower, except the stars were going in all directions, stopping in mid-air and then moving rapidly along out of sight, or changing directions, and colliding, then moving off in different directions as if they hadn’t met.  There were occasional tiny vapor trails, which disappeared almost immediately.  The stars were very bright, all about the same size and brilliance, all reflecting the suns rays, I thought.  The sky seemed full of them, maybe over one hundred.  By the time I got my camera, they were almost gone, and I was only able to catch one.”

At 1:00 pm, “Sighting occurred above McDonough Elementary School on Lowell road, off Rte. 93.  It lasted about twenty-five minutes.  At first they approached from a southern direction.  At first, they were stationary then they took off and made swirling formations.  They were large objects emitting a pulsating or highly reflective light and among them were two off-white orbs that had wrinkled or baggy appearance and looked like they had material streamers hanging from them.  When they suddenly disappeared, a group of  silver-white orbs swarmed like a group of bees in tight, swirling formation.  They went up and down, side to side and sometimes swirled like cream being stirred in coffee.  While stationary they emitted bright blue light and appeared flat and the two wrinkled orbs that looked like a scoop of dirty clouds was off-white.  There were twelve objects with blue lights and they seemed to have a mist around them that shrouded their exact shape.  The sky elsewhere was blue and totally cloudless.  They were the size of a hula-hoop when I looked at them floating.”
