"I will tell you of the evening I was working late.  And on my way back to the base I saw something in the sky and it moved but not like anything I’ve seen before.  So I pulled over to look at it better.  I’m not sure what I saw but it was there for about a minute then it was gone like it was a light bulb and it was shut off…When I got home my son told me…he saw some kind of light in the sky.  I asked him where it was and he pointed in the same spot I believe I saw the light and then he said it went out like …he shut his light out in his room…it was weird that we saw the same light turn off in the sky.”

At 2:30 am, "I was awakened in the middle of the night by a neon blue light that filled the room, and a humming noise.  The light grew more intense.  I tried to say something to my husband sleeping next to me.  Everything I tried to say came out in slow motion.  There was a noise, like the sound an x-ray machine makes.  When the light intensified, I could feel a vibration through my body, like a very weak electrical current.  It continued long enough for me to try to think of other explanations.  It was too real to be a dream."

January 22, 2001                 Wolfeboro

At 8:00 pm, “A very, very bright light, it kept speeding away and then would speed back to original position.  Light would also fade in and out.  Watched it repeat this for fifteen minutes.  We have seen this off and on for many years, this time of year.  Last year, while driving home after dark, we saw it at closer range.  This year it looked like smaller lights were around the bottom.”

February 1, 2001                 Salem

At 4:05 pm, “I was coming home from Nashua, headed east; there were scattered clouds, dark in nature.  Looking up in the sky, I noticed something glimmer.  Upon looking closer, I noticed four to five silvery objects near the clouds.  Knowing a little about flying, I knew that they could not be too small.  They were darting around, almost like they were chasing each other.  I’d seen them doing this for a while, until I lost sight of them and almost hit the car in front of me.  It took me quite by surprise.  I’ve never seen anything like this and it was right in full daylight!  I watched for ten minutes.”

“I will tell you of the evening I was working late.  On my way back to base I saw something in the sky.  I did stop my truck before I knew it was not a plane.  I know this because I drive as a limo driver part time at the time.  I saw a light in the sky and it moved, but not like anything I’ve seen before.  So I pilled over to look at it better...it was there for about a minute then it was gone, like it was a light bulb and it was shut off.”

March 19, 2001                   Canterbury

At 7:15 pm, a witness "sighted a very bright clear ball, moon shaped, with red and green circles around it.  It was visible to the naked eye.  I picked up binoculars; the orb took on a horseshow shape with beams of red lights shooting down.  The shape seemed almost translucent or 3D. I watched it for five minutes.  Shapes would flatten out and change into squares.  Upon examination with a telescope, the shape was a large orb that broke off into three triangles, all still within the orb they formed the ball again.  Then they broke off into three circles, began to move rapidly within the orb for five minutes, and then merged again into a large orb.  At times, this appeared to be like a large Ferris wheel moving around with all the colors.  This orb could change shapes, appear translucent, and showed bright glowing lights.  It moved out of view for a few seconds, and reappeared but not as bright.  After thirty minutes it went behind a hill."

May 19, 2001                       Passaconaway, White Mountain National Forest

At 11:00 pm, “A bright light was moving silently.  We were camped at the Passaconaway Campground on Rte. 112, the Kancamangus highway.  I walked to the bank of the Swift River, which runs beside the campground.  I noticed a light moving across the horizon from east to west.  The night was cloudy and the light was below the clouds moving in a straight line.  This was a solid bright white light traveling about the speed of a jet.  I’ve seen jets before in these mountains and they had blinking lights.  The object could not have been more than a mile from our location.  My brother-in-law also observed it.  We did not hear any sound and I backed away from the river, listening for any noise as the object went out of sight.”

May 22, 2001                       North Conway

“While standing on my Aunt’s back porch which looks across to North Moat Mountain in North Conway, N.H.  I was gazing several miles out at the remainder of light from the dusk sky.  At best guess, I’d say between seven hundred to one thousand feet above the highest peak and perfectly aligned with the horizon, one bright star-like light appeared from nowhere.  The first light split into a second identical light and quickly moved horizontally southward leaving a very faint and momentary light stream behind it.  It moved about three hundred feet to the left of the still lit, first light and came to a complete and sudden stop.  At this point, the second light did the exact same thing as the first.  Same split, same size, same light trail, same distance, same sudden stop. There were three identical lights above the mountain for three seconds.  Then once in position, the first light disappeared; much like someone switching off a light.  Followed by the second, and then the third.  Since there was still enough dusk light in the sky, I scanned the sky for the silhouette of a plane, a glider or anything that might have given off such a light.  The sky was perfectly clear, with the exception of a few faint stars just beginning to appear.  Sighting lasted six to ten seconds.”

August 2001                        Waterville Valley, White Mountains

“While camping in the White Mountains, the witness was sitting around the campfire while everyone else slept.  He suddenly heard a noise and immediately grabbed the flashlight and turned to the noise.  He saw something illuminated by the light, standing at the tree line, it looked like a being that was gray and naked and resembled a person. It was hunched down and was very muscular.  Its legs were backwards, like a bird.  The being quickly turned and bounded off down the hill quickly disappearing from sight.”

“My wife woke up late to get some cold water out of the fridge.  She looked out the window and saw two very bright balls, the size of a softball, chasing each other around the top of our van!  They were going around and around for about three to four minutes.  Then all of a sudden they took off real fast into the night sky.”

At 10:00 pm “Witness saw a flying triangle shape object, with a bright white light at each point.  He couldn’t make out the actual outline of the object or judge it’s distance or size, best guess it is was the size of a football field at a quarter mile away.  At first it was stationary, but started to move slowly down toward the tree line and disappeared.  The movement took fifteen to twenty seconds.  It made no sound."

“It was seven and a half years ago, and I was eleven years old, but the experience

has affected me deeply and I’ve been questioning what I saw ever since.  I haven’t shared this information with anyone else, and I don’t think my friend has either, but I feel like I need to be able to tell what it was I saw.  It was my friend’s birthday party and were all camping out in a tent at the base of the steps of her back porch.  There must have been about six girls there in all, but at the moment, only one friend and I were awake, as the others had just fallen asleep.  The tent had a zip-down half-circle flap in it that was open, letting the warm air in through the screen.  At the same time, we heard a noise.  It sounded sort of like a humming plane, I guess, but it wasn’t nearly as loud as an actual jet or anything.  That’s pretty much all I can say:  a plane mixed with a sort of hum.  But quiet, maybe about the level of a washing machine or vacuum.  We looked up as it was passing over is—maybe only 70 feet up.  It was a giant circular craft with blue and white lights going around the outside.  I think some were blinking, some weren’t, but this thing was probably about 30 yards in diameter.  It was low enough to the ground and moving slowly enough that I could see the individual panels used to build it.  Like a space shuttle or plane or something: the gray panels.  I remember that small jolt that goes through your heart when I realized what we were seeing.  It just passed over us—not going too fast—and went straight to the north/northeast (it went toward my house, just down and around the corner, and I know because of where the sun always rises and sets, that it was in that general direction).  It sort of passed without event.  We didn’t go screaming to the other girls and we didn’t tell our parents that morning.  I’m not sure if my friend knew if it was real or not.  She’s not really the type to embrace a UFO sighting, if you know what I mean, and I’ve only mentioned it a couple times like, ‘Hey, remember when we thought we saw that UFO at your birthday?’  And she’d laugh and say, ‘Oh yeah!’ Change the topic.”

At 7:00 pm, “My girlfriend and I were walking on a clear fall night; it was cold, but crystal clear.  We were able to see all the stars.  I saw this dash of light with streaking tail at a very high altitude.  I have seen many shooting stars and this was too straight of a flight path.  It was extremely fast and lasted about twenty-five seconds before it blipped out of sight.  There were two planes, possibly Civil Air Patrol, in the same area within five minutes of the sighting.  It was moving in a straight pattern, was very high in altitude and bright bluish, and was spherical or teardrop shape.”

September 9, 2001              Groton

At 11:00 pm, “I went outside with my video camera because I had seen strange lights in the sky.  I noticed a large sphere coming from the west to east at a slow rate of speed.  After a couple of minutes, another object, this one flashing, headed right into the large white sphere and disappeared into it.  Then a few seconds later, a small white object shot out of the large sphere at a ninety degree angle ascending into the sky.  This object was the fastest thing that I have ever seen in my entire life.  I have video of the whole event, fifteen minutes.”

At 9:15 pm, “We were camping at Russel Pond when we saw some lights over the northwest sky.  We thought it was a plane at first, but it didn’t move for a long time.  The only movement was up and down a little.  We couldn’t hear any sound.  At 9:45 pm it moved very quickly to the right and then back.  This happened twice.  We looked through binoculars at the light and saw red, blue-green and yellow-white lights.  About 11:00 pm it either went down or flew away from us and disappeared.”

October 13, 2001                Franconia Notch

At 3:00 pm, “While driving on Rte. 93 south, a black cigar shape UFO passed over the front hood of truck by four inches, from east to west.  Three people witnessed an all black, metallic craft fly by at sixty miles per hour.  The pass took about two seconds.  They saw a line of something, like small holes, portals, in a row, four to six of them, in a band running above center.  Disc viewed from the side, slightly tilted.  No sound.  Object was about eight feet in front of driver and two passengers.”

At 8:00 pm, “I was out looking at the stars with my telescope.  I noticed a bright yellow-orange object in the southeast sky.  I could see it for one minute.  When I tried to focus my telescope on it, it vanished.”

At 2:00 am, “I was lying in bed, when I woke up like a shot.  Outside the window was a green sphere.  It was blinking on and off slowly.  After five seconds it shot up in a flash.  My first experience was in the mid-seventies.  Saw a spherical green light move in front of a cloud, then shot up through the clouds at an incredible speed.  A few years later, on a moon lit night I woke up suddenly, looked out the window and saw a green sphere hovering over the tree tops, go slowly, stop, then shoot up into the sky.”          Source:  www.nuforc.org

At 10:00 pm, “It looked like a Cessna without any navigation lights except no shadow or blackness where body should have been.  It was glowing a soft orange color.  Object traveling northwest to southwest much faster than any airplane.  No sound.  Seen for ten seconds.  It had a rectangular shape.”

At 5:30 pm, “Two people out walking saw a large white disc hover above the trees making no noise at all.  It was gliding through the treetops slowly.  It lasted a few minutes.  Another day, our four children ran in the house crying and screaming that there was something in the sky changing shape and chasing them.”
